Anti-Tip device HD Motion

HD Rehab will be implementing a product improvement for HD Motion anti-tip devices as of 2024-09. The new version of the anti-tip device has a larger wheel that aids in rolling the chair forward when it comes in contact with the ground. The design has also been improved to minimise the possibility of noise coming from the wheel.

New Side Support Footbox BA

As requested by customers and in order to secure supply, HD Rehab is making a change to the Side Support plate for HD Balance. The material of the Side support plate will be changing to ABS. This does not change the function or quality of the product, but it does simplify reconditioning.

The change will start being implemented in the 2nd quarter, 2024

Footbox will keep the same article numbers, but the numbers for the side support plate will change.

New Wedge Side Support for HD Balance

HD Rehab will be making a change to the design of wedge shaped side supports, both narrow and wide.

This change does not affect function.

The wedge shaped side supports will start being replaced as of August 2021.

The implementation date may come slightly sooner or later depending on customer orders.

New standard Castor Fork HD Balance

Beginning 2016-08-25, castor fork art.no. 67320 will be produced with a third mounting hole. This means
it will no longer be necessary to order a new castor fork in the lowered confi guration (art.no. 67320-5)
when lowering a HD Balance by installing 20” drive wheels but retaining the 175 x 43 castors.

New Backrest

Backrest cushion improvements for HD Balance

– New shape – The cushion is now broader at the top to give better support for the back, especially in cases where the straps of the Flexi back are set very slack.

– Moulded – This makes the cushion shape more defined.

The new backrest cushions will gradually replace the current models beginning in the middle of April. Covers that fit the current backrest cushion will continue to be available to purchase as replacement parts.
